Since 2014, Christian Neuhäuser has been Professor of Philosophy and Executive Director at the Institute of Philosophy and Political Science at TU Dortmund University with a research focus on theories of dignity, responsibility and property. In his two most recent book publications, he devotes himself to "Wealth as a Moral Problem" (2018) and asks: "How Rich Can You Be?": On Greed, Envy and Justice" (2019). In his lecture, he transfers the moral dubiousness of extreme wealth to the art market, where extreme wealth is also and precisely expressed. How is this value of art measured and why?
