The 15th Triennale Kleinplastik will open in fine tradition in the Big Tent behind the Alte Kelter with a ceremony featuring Lord Mayor Gabriele Zull and Petra Olschowski, State Secretary in the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts, and curator Elke aus dem Moore. Traditionally, the Ludwig Gies Prize for Small Sculpture from LETTER Foundation Cologne is presented at the opening. The Lisa Tuyala Trio will provide the musical accompaniment. At the standing reception, all guests will be offered a glass of Triennale wine from Weingut Heid: a Riesling Sauvignon Blanc 2021. At 3 p.m., Nkhensani Mkhari invites you to his performance ZIBUYILE ZINKISI in the exhibition space. At 4 pm, the SCULPTURE FOREST SANCTUARY will be opened on the contemplation path with Antje Majewski and Paulina Kondraskov, a bus shuttle from the Alte Kelter is arranged. The sound performance by Lamin Fofana and Robert "Chi" Machiri at 7 pm in the Alte Kelter will lead into the artists' festival.
